We are a leading digital agency delivering exceptional strategy, design, and marketing services since 2008. We seek a talented and innovative WordPress Developer with AI expertise for our India Office to join our dynamic team.  

JOB DESCRIPTION  

We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with a strong background in PHP and WordPress frameworks to join our team. You will work closely with our designers and back-end developers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how to create user-friendly interfaces. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop responsive, efficient, and accessible front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. 

  • Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements. 

  • Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic. 

  • Implement best practices for performance, usability, and SEO. 

  • Test and debug cross-browser, cross-device compatibility. 

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to transform designs into functional user interfaces. 

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, particularly within the WordPress ecosystem. 

Required Skills: 

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. 

  • Experience with PHP and WordPress themes and plugin development. 

  • Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles. 

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX. 

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git. 

  • Understanding of SEO best practices for web development. 

  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular. 

  • Knowledge of WooCommerce and experience with eCommerce websites. 

  • Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters. 

  • Basic understanding of MySQL and database management. 

  • Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel is a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
