Position Summary: 
The SEO Analyst will  analyze, audit, and provide recommendations for SEO strategy. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and executing SEO opportunities to enhance organic traffic, improve conversion rates, and boost search engine rankings. Collaborating with content, marketing, and technical teams, the SEO Analyst will drive data-backed insights and provide recommendations that align with our business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Keyword Research & Strategy Development: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth, and develop recommendations for a structured SEO strategy that targets key audience segments. 

  • Performance Analysis & Tracking: Track and analyze SEO metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics platforms. 

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report on search trends and SEO performance, translating findings into actionable insights that guide content and technical strategies. 

  • Website Audits & Optimization: Audit and analyze websites to identify areas for improvement and make optimization recommendations for better search engine rankings, site structure, and user experience. 

  • Collaboration with Content Teams: Partner closely with content teams to provide SEO recommendations that enhance organic success through keyword targeting, content structure, and internal linking. 

  • Competitor Analysis & Market Research: Perform competitor analysis to identify content gaps and areas for improvement, using insights to refine our approach and boost competitive advantage. 

  • Funnel Analysis: Plan and analyse funnel campaigns across multiple channels to improve user journey and conversion rates 

  • Trend Monitoring & Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest SEO, social media, and digital marketing trends, tools, and practices, providing recommendations adjusting strategies to ensure competitiveness. 

  • Cross-Functional Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, social media, and paid media teams, to analyze and provide recommendations for high-performance integrated marketing campaigns. 

  • Technical SEO Implementation: Work closely with web developers to ensure best practices in technical SEO, such as site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, structured data markup, and crawlability. 

  • Link-Building & Outreach: Analyze and recommend effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic reach through partnerships, guest posts, and PR outreach. 

  • ROI Analysis: Measure and analyse the return on investment from marketing campaigns and providing actionable insights. 

  • Predictive Analysis:Use historical data and trends to forecast future SEO performance and identify potential opportunities or challenges.   

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving organic growth. 

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools. 

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making. 

  • Content Optimization Knowledge: Deep understanding of on-page SEO, content structure, and keyword targeting. 

  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO. 

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress. 

  • Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or similar areas is a plus. 

  • Experience with local SEO and providing recommendations for listings in Google My Business.
